Crafting your own training using EOSC resources

Welcome to this train-the-trainer course on setting up and delivering your training on EOSC. This course will provide you with pedagogical tools and expertise to help you create engaging EOSC training.

This course is intended for trainers who will include EOSC subjects in their training. The course is disciplinarily agnostic and applicable to trainers working with a range of stakeholder groups.

EOSC Trainers

In this course you will learn how to:

  • to confidently utilise training resources relating to EOSC.
  • to create and share training resources relating to EOSC.
  • to understand and implement FAIR sharing of training materials.

Course structure

The material within this Course should take you no longer than an hour to work through. For each section we have provided a range of enrichment reading that you can use to broaden your knowledge of the EOSC Knowledge Hub and create EOSC training materials, as well as to refresh your understanding of key topics that feed into these issues such as pedagogy and developing FAIR training materials.

These resources can be found in the supporting resources section and are signposted throughout. We recommend you access them in your own time as points of reference to further your learning, as opposed to the designated content throughout the 4 main learning sections of the course itself.

Prerequisites

It is advised that trainers taking this course will first have completed the 'Introduction to EOSC' course developed for the stakeholder communities in which they train.
