Data Protection, Copyright & Ethics in Research

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of key principles and practices in Open Science, focusing on personal data processing, copyright in the digital environment, and research ethics in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It aligns with global and European frameworks like GDPR and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), ensuring participants are equipped to address modern research challenges. Through practical examples and engaging activities, learners will gain the skills necessary to navigate complex ethical, legal, and technical considerations in Open Science practices.


Course Duration

~3 hours total (~1 hour per lesson).

Lesson 1: Personal Data Processing in Research
