EOSC Accounting for research products

Welcome to this course on the EOSC Accounting for research products. It is intended for the providers who have onboarded data sources and research products to the EOSC Marketplace and would like to track the usage of the research products contained in their data sources across platforms and have these metrics displayed on the research products’ details pages in the EOSC Marketplace.

EOSC Providers

The course will:

  • Prepare you to understand the benefits of tracking usage data for research products;
  • Get you ready to enable and configure EOSC Accounting for your data sources onboarded to the EOSC Marketplace.

This course aims to:

  • Explain the benefits of tracking and displaying usage data for research products;
  • Train you to configure EOSC Accounting for your data sources.

Course structure

The material within the course will take you about 45 minutes to work through. 

The introductory section explains the concept and benefits of usage tracking for research products. This is followed by a brief description of the service's architecture and integration instructions.

For each section we have provided a range of supporting resources that can help you integrate your services with the EOSC Helpdesk. The resources are signposted throughout and found within the 'supporting resources' section linked from the left-hand side menu.


Pre-requisites

It is advised that service providers who want to take this course familiarise themselves with the procedure for onboarding data sources to the EOSC Marketplace.
