State-of-the-Art training in FAIR Research Data Management
Developed under the PATTERN Project, this trainer-focused guide supports educators in delivering the FAIR Research Data Management course. It equips trainers to teach beginners and intermediate learners the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable), through five core sessions. Topics include research data management basics, data discoverability, accessibility strategies, interoperability practices, and reusability guidelines. The material offers session plans, presentations, activities, case studies, and evaluation tools. Designed for flexible delivery, face-to-face, online, or self-paced, it enables impactful training that strengthens data practices and enhances the visibility and reuse of scientific outputs.
