• Study Case Planning Template for Content Creators

  Title of the Study Case	A clear, descriptive title summarizing the case.
  Thematic Area	Select one of the 8 PATTERN thematic areas: 1. FAIR RDM 2. Gender & Inclusivity 3. Mental Health 4. Science Communication 5. Ethics & Integrity 6. Citizen Science 7. Open Access & Scholarly Communication 8. Dissemination & Exploitation
  Type of Scenario	Choose one: □ Problem-solving case □ Success story □ Hypothetical project □ Real project experience
  Brief Description of the Scenario	Summarize the situation, problem, or project context (3–4 sentences).
  Project Goals / Key Challenges	What are the main objectives or problems to solve?
  Steps Taken or Planned	Describe main actions/strategies used in addressing the challenge.
  Stakeholders Involved	List individuals, teams, or institutions engaged in the case.
  Tools / Platforms Used	Name tools, platforms, or resources used (e.g., ARGOS, Zenodo, OpenPlato).
  Core Competency Tags	Select 2–5 from the PATTERN glossary (e.g., digital literacy, ethical awareness, stakeholder communication).
  Transferable Skills Involved	Indicate whether skills can be applied in other thematic areas.
  Intended Learning Outcomes	What should learners be able to do or understand after engaging with this case?
  Reflection Prompts for Learners	Provide 2–3 questions to guide learner reflection (e.g., “What would I do differently?”).
  Notes for Trainer or Reviewer	Any additional suggestions, notes, or context for peer review or trainer facilitation.
