This learning module explains the critical relationship between reproducibility and the trustworthiness of artificial intelligence (AI). It emphasizes the understanding of how reproducibility impacts credibility and explains the different levels of AI reproducibility that researchers may strive for. The module also elaborates on barriers, such as inconsistent data collection and lack of transparency, as well as drivers, like standardized practices and tools that can support reproducibility. Finally, it illustrates how the presented barriers and drivers interact and aims to foster an understanding of this interaction in order to enhance the reproducibility of AI systems, thereby leading to a more reliable and valuable research practice in the field of AI. This module examines reproducibility challenges in qualitative research, covering methodological, epistemological, and practical considerations. This module introduces publishers to the Editorial Reference Handbook, a practical resource collaboratively developed by academics and publishers. The handbook assists in-house editorial staff to operationalise a set of checks fostering good practices for sharing datasets, software, materials and other digital objects. O Bootcamp de Formação de Formadores em Ciência Aberta tem como objetivo capacitar formadores com conhecimentos e competências em Ciência Aberta, para que possam por sua vez transmiti-los aos investigadores e estudantes, ajudando a criar um ecossistema de investigação mais aberto, transparente e acessível. O Bootcamp é um evento de formação de 6 dias, dedicado a capacitar formadores, recorrendo a dinâmicas interativas e técnicas pedagógicas específicas, para os domínios de Investigação e Inovação Responsável e Ciência Aberta. Durante estes dias de intensa atividade e trabalho imersivo, pretendemos incrementar as suas competências enquanto formador(a), trabalhando tópicos de Ciência Aberta, tais como o Acesso Aberto a publicações, a gestão e abertura dos dados de investigação a comunicação de ciência e envolvimento com o público. O bootcamp será ainda espaço de sistematização de competências, técnicas e ferramentas de formação bem como da organização de eventos de formação. Ao participar neste Bootcamp, ficará, com toda a certeza, mais capacitado/a com novas ferramentas que auxiliarão em futuras formações em Ciência Aberta na sua instituição ou comunidade. Objetivos de aprendizagem desenvolver uma compreensão aprofundada sobre Ciência Aberta, publicação em Acesso Aberto, dados abertos, planos de gestão de dados, requisitos de Ciência Aberta no Horizonte Europa e serviços de apoio disponibilizados pelo OpenAIRE; melhorar as competências para comunicar e ensinar, de forma eficaz, os conceitos acima mencionados, a investigadores, no apoio à investigação, a estudantes ou outras partes interessadas; familiarizar-se com várias ferramentas que apoiam as melhores práticas em Ciência Aberta; ganhar confiança e competências para lidar com questões desafiantes; fazer parte da Comunidade de Prática de Ciência Aberta e RRI uma comunidade de formadores onde poderá partilhar experiências e debater tópicos relativos a formação nestas áreas, possibilitando trabalho em rede e colaboração. Organização O Bootcamp proporcionará uma experiência de aprendizagem dinâmica e estimulante, combinando sessões online interativas na semana de 22 a 26 de setembro, e culminando numa sessão presencial, que acontecerá no dia 3 de outubro em Coimbra, bem como oportunidades de networking e trabalhos práticos. Terá a oportunidade de ouvir especialistas na matéria e de participar em debates e partilhar as suas próprias experiências como formador. A dimensão do trabalho em rede é uma componente central da conceção deste bootcamp, com uma variedade de atividades que incluem sessões de discussão e exercícios de grupo. Para além disso, a utilização do OpenPlato como plataforma de aprendizagem facilitará a formação do que desejamos sejam ligações duradouras entre a comunidade de formadores de Ciência Aberta. Participantes Bibliotecários, data stewards, profissionais de apoio à investigação, gestores e comunicadores de ciência, investigadores ou outros intervenientes que tencionem ministrar formação em Ciência Aberta.Este é um curso de nível intermédio. Deve ter, no mínimo, alguns conhecimentos básicos sobre gestão de dados de investigação e de nível intermédio sobre publicação em acesso aberto. Compromissos Ao participar, por favor considere se tem disponibilidade para frequentar a totalidade do curso, uma vez que para obter a certificação, deverá participar de forma ativa nas sessões síncronas (3 horas/dia) e presencial e ainda entregar as tarefas individuais e apresentar um trabalho de grupo final. Irá ainda necessitar de tempo para rever os materiais e também lhe será pedido que realize algumas atividades curtas na semana anterior ao Bootcamp. É, ainda, esperado que os candidatos realizem pelo menos uma formação sobre um tema de Ciência Aberta na sua instituição ou comunidade no período de um ano após o término do Bootcamp.
